This is a sample of the devastation that hit Punta Gorda on Friday, August 13, 2004.
This photo shows the northeast corner of our building at W. Marion and Taylor.
Our office suite was on the opposite (southeast) corner of the building.
Foliage had been ripped from most of the trees left standing.

Here is a picture of the west side of the building, at Marion and Sullivan streets.
There used to be a car wash in the foreground on the right.
Below is a photo of the parking lot in back (south) of our building.
The lower left two windows space was once part of our office.
The lawyer next door is at his computer, but there's no power.

Blossom Florist across Marion street was totally demolished.

Charley arrived in southwest Florida at Fort Myers Beach.

This will make anyone happy just to be alive, dry, clean and comfortable.
